Hellish Quart — is a 3D fighting game in which we fight using 17th century melee weapons, including sabers and rapiers. The game is focused on a realistic representation of such encounters, as well as the historical realities on which it is based. The Polish independent studio Kubold is responsible for the development and publication of this game. Hellish Quart we are transported to the 17th century, to the crown of the Kingdom of Poland and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania also known as the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. This pc game is a rather unusual 3D fighting game that is closer in gameplay to the little-known Bushido Blade series than.

About This Game

This game is focused on a realistic representation of duels using melee weapons. The effect is achieved, among other things, thanks to a properly prepared animation and an advanced physics system the latter is responsible for calculating damage the effectiveness of blows depends on which part of the body we hit the enemy. In Hellish Quart, the four buttons on the gamepad control the direction of attack, while the combinations allow you to make a series of different hits and perform special movements. When we do not attack, our character automatically tries to protect himself from the opponent’s blows — the weapon comes into contact with each other.

The key is to deliver the cuts at the right time. Among the available characters, you can find Zaporozhye Cossacks, hussars, Tatars, or the Musketeers of the Guard. We can play Hellish Quart alone or with other players. The game offers a game campaign, arcade mode and local multiplayer mode. Hellish Quart has very beautiful 3D graphics. Both models and locations demonstrate a strong commitment to detail, realism, and historical accuracy an effect that has been achieved with 3D scanning technology. Animations developed using motion capture technology deserve special attention thanks to this, the characters move smoothly and reliably.
