About This Game
Most of the 4X games are aimed at achieving irreversible improvements, both from a technical and economic point of view, but in SotE, the civilization of a remote mountain valley is able to outlast that neighboring highly developed continental empire. In a game where the mechanics of disintegration are as well thought out as the mechanics of growth, a society oriented towards sustainability can easily outlast a society oriented towards rapid expansion, which after a while can leave behind only forgotten technologies, exploits and monuments forcibly destroyed under its own weight.System Requirements
