Description

Morkredd — you are the protector of the Sphere, its light belongs to you. You need to survive and solve over 60 puzzles while avoiding the shadows created by the environment. Publisher Aspyr Media and developer Hyper Games have released a co-op puzzle game called Morkredd, which is being created in versions for the Xbox One, Xbox Series and PC. After watching the announcement trailer, it is rather difficult to understand how all this is to be played. But what is very clear now is that the game will be extremely dark and dark. By the way, Morkredd is a Norwegian word meaning fear of the dark. In the game, you must use light and shadow to solve puzzles in a dark world inspired by Nordic culture.

Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process for CODEX

Open the .iso with a virtual drive program (e.g. Daemon Tools) — on Windows 10/11 a double click mounts it on its own.
Install the game by running setup.exe and following the wizard.
After installation, copy the entire contents of the CODEX folder from the disc into the game folder and agree to replace the files.
Start the game through its usual shortcut, preferably as administrator.

Having trouble launching the game?

The steam_api64.dll and other files from the CODEX folder are the heart of the release — if your antivirus removes them, restore them from quarantine and exclude the game folder.
CODEX releases run fully offline. For safety, block the game .exe in your firewall so it never tries to reach Steam.
Errors about missing d3dx9_43.dll or MSVCP140.dll mean the runtimes were skipped — install everything from the disc's Redist or _CommonRedist folder.
