Description

The project, called Dream Engines Nomad Cities, is a city-building simulator with elements of RPG, survival and post-apocalyptic style. Get ready for the fact that you have to rebuild a real flying city that will give you a chance to survive in a crazy world full of nightmares and horrible things. Here you can be transported into a crazy, but at the same time bizarre world filled with strange science and dreams. The only way to survive in these conditions is to build an entire settlement soaring in the sky. Use the numerous buildings of the old world, explore the surrounding territories in search of the necessary resources, and also fight mysterious monsters.

NOTE. Uploaded version: 24 September 2024 [v1.08]. This is Full Release and latest version of game. The game is already Packaged in Installer and ready to run the game after install, read the instruction below.

Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process for P2P Release

No installation is needed — this release is fully pre-installed and ready to play, so you can skip setup wizards and long updates entirely.
Extract the archive (RAR/ZIP) to a short, Latin-only path like C:\Games\GameName using WinRAR or 7-Zip — and never launch the game from inside the archive, as that is the top cause of launch failures.
Launch the game via Run Me!.bat (or the main .exe file) in the game folder. If nothing happens, right-click it and choose Run as administrator.

Having trouble launching the game?

Check these common causes before troubleshooting further.

Install the required runtimes if the game reports a missing DLL or fails to start: Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (x86 and x64) and DirectX Runtime. If the release includes a Redist or _CommonRedist folder, check it first.

Build 179 to 219AddedWe added a brand new animated title screen with new original music by Alon Kaplan.Added short musical themes when winning or losing the game.New \'Management Mode\' and \'Combat mode\' that allow different control schemes, one for managing the city and one for exploring and fighting.Added keyboard shortcuts for selecting constructions in the build menu.Now showing all keyboard shortcuts on their buttons in the UI.Added an ammo resource that is consumed when attacking with your steambot\'s ranged weapons. Turrets still produce their own ammo and only require power.ChangedEnemies now have lower health but come in much larger numbers.The same enemy can come in four different sizes. The weaker variants can usually be killed in one or two hits, but the larger ones introduce an extra challenge.Wooden turrets now deal area damage but fire at a slower rate.Significantly increased the range and explosion area of the Tarbomb turret.Atlas Turrets have a much faster firing rate and DPS, but shorter range and will not deal area damage like the other two turrets.Tarbomb turret can now be upgraded like the other turrets.Walls are stronger to make up for the increse in enemy raid sizes.Light crossbows have slightly faster firing rate, and can fire 10 shots instead of 5 in each combo.Heavy crossbows now deal explosive damage in an area around the target they hit.All ranged weapons have longer range.
