Description

Yakuza 3 Remastered — before you is an updated version of the game, with better graphics and various additions. Yakuza 3 will continue the story of the mafia Kazuma Kiriyu, who wanted to forget about his criminal past and decided to live quietly and peacefully with his adopted daughter Haruka. But it was not there. The long arms of the Yakuza reach out to his neck, the criminal world again demands victims and off they go — broken jaws, broken noses and heaps of crushed bandits. Well, in between fights, you can explore the nooks and crannies of the Kamurocho district, chat with people and play all kinds of gambling.

Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process for CODEX

Open the .iso with a virtual drive program (e.g. Daemon Tools) — on Windows 10/11 a double click mounts it on its own.
Install the game by running setup.exe and following the wizard.
After installation, copy the entire contents of the CODEX folder from the disc into the game folder and agree to replace the files.
Start the game through its usual shortcut, preferably as administrator.

Having trouble launching the game?

The steam_api64.dll and other files from the CODEX folder are the heart of the release — if your antivirus removes them, restore them from quarantine and exclude the game folder.
CODEX releases run fully offline. For safety, block the game .exe in your firewall so it never tries to reach Steam.
Errors about missing d3dx9_43.dll or MSVCP140.dll mean the runtimes were skipped — install everything from the disc's Redist or _CommonRedist folder.
