Description

Skid Cities — is a cyberpunk city building game. A kind of sandbox, the mechanics and dynamics of which correspond to a dark, distorted and frightening future. Build slums, incredible skyscrapers, cyborg hideouts, secret intelligence black holes, factories, and more. Develop your underground city or build it up until you reach the clouds. Realize your utopian and dystopian dreams. All in your hands. Skid Cities allows you to build multi-level high-rise cities from skyscrapers, or go underground and build up to 100 floors there. As the city grows, various corporations can settle in it and even build their headquarters there, which will definitely have an impact on the city.

Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process for P2P Release

No installation is needed — this release is fully pre-installed and ready to play, so you can skip setup wizards and long updates entirely.
Extract the archive (RAR/ZIP) to a short, Latin-only path like C:\Games\GameName using WinRAR or 7-Zip — and never launch the game from inside the archive, as that is the top cause of launch failures.
Launch the game via Run Me!.bat (or the main .exe file) in the game folder. If nothing happens, right-click it and choose Run as administrator.

Having trouble launching the game?

Install the required runtimes if the game reports a missing DLL or fails to start: Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (x86 and x64) and DirectX Runtime. If the release includes a Redist or _CommonRedist folder, check it first.
