Game trailer: Lumencraft
Screenshots
Description
Lumencraft — players will play as scouts who have founded a settlement near the alleged deposits of Lumen. They will face monsters, and will also mine a precious resource, trying to survive in an ongoing nightmare. The developers promise a large arsenal of weapons, destructible environment, a branched technology tree and much more. At first glance, Lumencraft looks like a retro top-down shooter where the hero fights huge swarms of underground bugs. Your character is the last hope of humanity to get the precious minerals Lumen, which prevent extinction. The protagonist is not the only one who hunts and fights for the Lumen minerals.
About This Game
So expect competition. However, the gameplay Lumencraft does not consist of continuous battles and shooting, you have to make your way through the cave system. As you move forward, the walls of the tunnel form intricate tunnel corridors around you that are influenced by the environment. Throwing a grenade forward will create a neat circular room, but you should be aware that lava pounding from behind the wall can bring the tunnel down in a matter of seconds. The lava that has penetrated the corridors spreads rapidly, filling all the tunnels. All that remains for you in this situation is to dig in the hope of drilling your way out.
To an interesting concept, the game also looks utterly cute. In addition to an interesting concept, the game also looks utterly cute. Destruction of the environment also plays a role in building and protecting the base, which you will have to equip and force with turrets. Enemies will actively use elements of the environment in the trailer, you can see that a huge troll broke off a piece of the wall in order to throw it at the hero.
