Nerf Legends — a new sci-fi first-person shooter based on the popular Nerf line of toys. The game is out now and offers more PG on the traditionally mature genre. IGN posted the news, and the revealed trailer showcases the real-life Nerf weapon you will use to blast opponents in the face. Players have at their fingertips 15 different Nerf pistols based on the Mega, Ultra and Elite lines. The cannons do fire laser darts instead of traditional foam darts, however, and you can collect bonuses like seeker, freeze, and magnetic darts.

Nerf Legends PC is a single-player campaign in which players battle an army of evil robots across 19 levels. Areas include a fortress spaceport and jungle. Meanwhile, the multiplayer modes include 4v4 team battles and an eight-player mode, free for everyone. Weapons can be customized with various attacking perks, and you can equip weapons and your character with cosmetic skins. In other hot news hitting the hit game genre, Game Mill is also releasing the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl in the Super Smash Bros. style, which is also slated for this year.
