Description

Gust of Wind — a gust of wind alternates between a game based on secrecy and a game based on dialogue. The missions are small but detailed sandboxes with many climbing elements and freedom of movement. The player’s actions and selections are displayed in the dialogs with the NPC. The story unfolds in a rusty world with gadgets of the industrial age. Mutant seagulls search the ruins of ancient port cities in search of equipment to help their hometown withstand a constant war with rival factions. The main character is an expert on secrecy from a team of soldiers sent to collect technologies that harm the survival of their hometown.

Step-by-step setup process for P2P Release

No installation is needed — this release is fully pre-installed and ready to play, so you can skip setup wizards and long updates entirely.
Extract the archive (RAR/ZIP) to a short, Latin-only path like C:\Games\GameName using WinRAR or 7-Zip — and never launch the game from inside the archive, as that is the top cause of launch failures.
Launch the game via Run Me!.bat (or the main .exe file) in the game folder. If nothing happens, right-click it and choose Run as administrator.

Install the required runtimes if the game reports a missing DLL or fails to start: Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (x86 and x64) and DirectX Runtime. If the release includes a Redist or _CommonRedist folder, check it first.
