Supraland Six Inches Under

Supraland Six Inches Under is the sequel to Supralands 3D puzzle-adventure Metroidvania, now set in deep dungeons. Six Inches Under is a small side project that was created to introduce new members of the development team to the workflow. We can say that this is our preparation for the second part of Supraland. The first part was done mainly by one person David Munnich, but in this addition his role is relatively small. Almost every member of the team made one or two locations for the game, and in this sense the game came out very experimental. This part was originally supposed to be a small expansion for Supraland, but it got more and more ambitious and things got a little out of hand during development. Instead of 3 months, work on the game took almost 2 years.

About This Game

This part can be called Supraland 1.5, because there are still a lot of things from the first game, but at the same time it is a completely new world with many new mechanics. If you liked the first Supraland game, then you will most likely be interested in the new approach to combat in this part. We learned a lot, the main concept was heavily reworked it can also be called experimental. Battles with enemies will no longer distract you from solving puzzles, and all new types of opponents are significantly different from each other, so everyone will have to find their own approach.
