Description
The action of Codex of Victory takes place in the distant future, which is quite unusual for the genre of science fiction. Humanity inhabits more than twenty planets, but the social structure has returned to feudalism again. The state is ruled by the king, and certain territories were transferred to barons and lords. The plot revolves around a conflict between the kingdom and a faction known as the Auguments. It is made up of genetically modified humans equipped with numerous cyber-implants. They believe that ordinary people are prisoners of their own imperfect bodies and that for their own good, everyone must be enslaved and then improved.
The player will have to travel between planets, reflecting the attacks of enemy troops. on each of the planets, it is necessary to expand the ground base. This aspect of the game takes place in real time and requires resource management, addition of new sections, technological research and the creation of reliable combat vehicles, because they are used to fight battles. Battles take place on the surface of the planets in a turn-based mode, on maps covered with a grid. There are over twenty-five types of units available.
The gameplay is varied due to the system of random generation of missions, thanks to which each time the user is waiting for new adventures and challenges. The game offers a story campaign lasting over twenty hours. In addition, the authors have not forgotten about the multiplayer mode, which allows you to fight over the Internet with other players.
