The Caligula Effect 2 — experience a reality-bending adventure from Persona writer Tadashi Satomi and director Takuya Yamanaka. A virtual doll named Regret created Redos world to save people from their past regrets by unknowingly trapping them in a simulation. However, this paradise is shaken to its core when a virtual idol named X infiltrates Regrets virtual reality and restores a high school students memories of the real world. To escape from Redo, they form the Go-Home Club, a resistance group that tries to fight Regret and her henchmen, the Obbligato Musicians.

However, the detachment of the main protagonists, which consists of awakened characters, wants to destroy this fake universe at any cost and free itself from its invisible but tangible shackles. The heroes also believe that the authorities should teach people to look difficulties in the eye in order to overcome them, and not hide behind the sleepy screen of a fictional life.

The gamer will move through a variety of locations and take part in complex turn-based battles. During the passage, the player will receive new types of ammunition and increase the level of their protégés. In total, the gameplay involves the presence of 9 different characters, which the player can change in the course of the story.
