Description

Burden is an ambitious project from the independent studio Black Book Development, which includes elements of RPGs, adventures, survival and simulations in the post-apocalyptic world, full of secrets, secrets, action and constant threats. In this game, the reverse role system is involved. According to the idea of the authors, in Burden the character of the player with 100% probability gets injuries and various diseases, which are almost impossible to get rid of. This state of things, in turn, suggests that the protagonist of the game will survive, exhausted from all sorts of diseases, smoothly flowing into the shortcomings of the character.

About This Game

The already difficult daily trials of fate will be complicated by weak bones, violation in the urinary system, arterial pressure and other ailments. You will be extremely lucky if you can find a water well in the world of Burden. Around this source of life-giving moisture, it is possible and necessary to equip the base, the walls of which must be as strong and unyielding as possible to the enemy onslaught. And the enemies you have, believe me, because in these lands water is worth its weight in gold. Who has water, and to survive is easier — a simple local truth.

Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process for CODEX

  1. Open the .iso with a virtual drive program (e.g. Daemon Tools) — on Windows 10/11 a double click mounts it on its own.

  2. Install the game by running setup.exe and following the wizard.

  3. After installation, copy the entire contents of the CODEX folder from the disc into the game folder and agree to replace the files.

  4. Start the game through its usual shortcut, preferably as administrator.
