Description
Traveling to the past and future alone can be too dangerous, so The Past Within invites you to take a friend on this adventure. One player moves into time that has already passed, and the second into what is yet to be seen. By interacting, looking at things from different angles and working as a team, you can unravel the secrets of Albert Wonderboom and realize his plans. The plot of The Past Within revolves around Rose’s desire to learn more about her father and bring to life what he has in mind. Since he died many years ago, leaving nothing like a diary, one of the players is invited to go into the past into memories to compare them with reality, and the other into the future. One of the worlds is presented in a traditional 2D style, and the second in realistic 3D.
The gameplay consists of many puzzles, puzzles and tasks. The key to solving most of them is with another person who is playing in a different time. For example, in order to set the correct time on the clock in the future, you need to look at the old wall clock in the past. The game is also accompanied by comments and screensavers as a reaction to certain actions. There are no hints, so everything is decided by trial and error.
