The Chant

The Chant crosses horror game, adventure and action. The game has a third person view. In it, you need to monitor three parameters of the character: health, spirit and mind. These resources are allowed to be managed. For example, you can use meditation to strengthen the mind by spending spiritual energy. With the help of supernatural abilities and intangible weapons, you need to fight monsters. Some fights can be avoided if desired. Also here you need to explore gloomy locations, open shortcuts, chat with NPCs, craft, collect collectibles. The action takes place in an isolated area. The story tells how a group of people who decided to spend a quiet weekend had to deal with cosmic and psychedelic horror.

About This Game

The title of the title translates as Song. The story is about Jessica Briars. Due to serious problems in her life, she needed a retreat. So the heroine went to a seminar on spiritual growth that was held on the island. By an unfortunate coincidence, the hippie community disappeared in this place in the 1970s. The participants of the event decide to perform a ritual. By their actions, they accidentally open a portal to a parallel world called Gloom. This alternate dimension feeds on human negative emotions and creates monsters. So the protagonist and other surviving people will literally have to face their own demons. Among the opponents there are also sectarians. The story is divided into a prologue and 7 chapters.
