Description
Far Away From Home is a tactical role-playing game in which players control a hero named Simon. The protagonist travels in the company of other characters, exploring a large open world. The gameplay of Far Away From Home is represented by turn-based battles, where you will need to control one or another hero every turn. Each unit in the party has its own unique characteristics and fights with the help of individual abilities. The skills of the characters are pumped with increasing levels. A wide arsenal of weapons and magical abilities is available.
A lot of upgrade branches are presented, allowing you to create unique builds not only for certain heroes, but also for the whole party. Traveling around the world you will need to complete the main and secondary quests. Exploring villages or catacombs, you can find improved weapons and equipment that significantly increase the characteristics of the heroes. You have to fight against various monsters and powerful bosses. Defeated enemies drop loot and useful items that can be used in battle. Locations consist of cities, plains, mountains, caves, etc.
The plot tells how many countries came together to create a huge hadron collider. However, when it is launched, mysterious rifts open, drawing the inhabitants of the planet into the other world. Simon, along with his squad, finds himself on the other side of reality and now he, along with his people, will have to find his way back.
