Description

Tidy Up History is a cozy and relaxing first-person cleaning simulation game where the player inherits a once-famous but now completely neglected and messy museum. Upon arrival, you find the grand exhibition halls covered in thick dust and filled with hundreds of misplaced historical items, shattered display cases, and scattered debris. The core gameplay revolves around a satisfying gameplay loop of scrubbing away dirt, clearing out clutter, repairing damaged pedestals, and organizing ancient relics back onto their proper shelves. As you clean and restore the building, you will discover hidden keys to unlock new wings of the facility, uncover fascinating historical knowledge to correctly identify artifacts, piece together gigantic dinosaur skeletons bone by bone, and level up your skills to transform a chaotic inheritance into a beautiful, thriving cultural landmark.

  1. No installation is needed — the game comes fully pre-installed and ready to play.

Hints & Cheats Patch 1.0.3

We have added a "Hints & Cheats" section to the pause menu, allowing players to enter cheats, enable accessibility options, or view various tutorials. Not a lot in there for now though.

This screen is designed to assist players who are struggling with basic mechanics or have encountered a soft lock.

A Steam Community Guide detailing all available cheats will be published soon.

Other changes & fixes:
  • Reduced door sound volume and fixed an issue where it was unaffected by the "Effects Volume" slider.
  • Keys and the Knowledge Book are now automatically restored if they fall through the terrain.
  • Fixed an issue where the Historian ability UI elements remained on screen after placing an item.
  • Removed already placed labels from the label selector.

This patch addresses some issues related to the game camera.
  • We have disabled camera bobbing for now since it was causing disconfort to a number of players.
  • We have raised the camera to represent a more realistic player height.
  • We have tweaked the mouse sensitivity.
