Game Formats: ISO & Installers
Releases on the site come in three shapes. The format is usually named right in the release title or description.
Pre-Installed (ready to run)
- Download and extract the archive.
- Run the game executable (.exe) directly — there is nothing to install.
This is the fastest format: no setup wizard, no disc images.
Packaged in an Installer
- Download and extract the archive.
- Run setup.exe and follow the wizard.
- Choose the install folder and wait — large games can take a while to unpack.
Packaged in an ISO file
- Download the archive and extract it — inside you will find an .iso image.
- Mount the image: on Windows 10/11 just right-click → Mount; on Windows 7 use UltraISO.
- Run the setup from the virtual drive.
General tips
- Disable real-time antivirus scanning of the install folder only if a false positive blocks the setup — and re-enable it afterwards.
- Install paths without non-Latin characters avoid most weird errors.
- If the game does not start, check the missing runtime components (DirectX, Visual C++, .NET).
