Survival Fountain of Youth is an exciting and challenging action-adventure indie game developed by Odinsoft Inc., featuring elements of simulation and early access. In this game, players find themselves stranded on a deserted island with the ultimate goal of finding the mythical Fountain of Youth, rumored to grant eternal youth and immortality. Construction Mode Update is Live! Hey, Fountain Seekers! We\'re excited to share some thrilling news with you on this nice Wednesday. Survival: Fountain of Youth’s experience continues to evolve with a free update to increase the amount of fun and creativity our awesome community can have. So, we thought it would be cool to give you the chance to experience the game as you\'ve never been able to before. You know, cutting time on some tedious processes and letting your imagination truly shine. In other words, please welcome the free construction mode with unlimited possibilities! The Construction Mode on consoles is coming soon, too! So, how about building the greatest constructions imaginable in SFOY? Maybe an Eiffel Tower or a replica of some old fancy castle. Or something that has never been built before. Let your imagination shine. And now, to the details! You can choose the Construction mode right from the main menu. What does this new mode mean?Unlimited crafting and building. All recipes are unlocked.All locations are open and ready to be settledAnimals don’t notice the player.No negative statuses.Immortality and flight mode (double jump to activate) This mode has no character development and no story progress. All game content will become available immediately, so keep it in mind if you are a new player. In that case, we recommend playing the game in normal mode first. Also, please note that the game performance may be affected if too many objects are created in your save. A huge round of applause to everyone who has supported our project to this day! The game was released in Early Access over two years ago, and it\'s been a wonderful experience of both developing a game and interacting with our awesome players. Hotfix 1262 | Combat Tutorial ImprovementsFirst of all, a huge thanks to all of you for the enormous support on our Early Access release! The last two days were filled with utter excitement about how many of you appreciate the adventure we made for you.One of the main issues from the feedback we gathered, is the combat tutorial with that nasty and elusive beast. We also feel that it needs reworking. We\'ve just released a hotfix with updated tutorial quest steps and a new tutorial pop-up to better explain the mechanics of block and a blocking hit. Let this short-eared dog immediately learn its place!Moreover, we’ve started working on more significant changes to the whole combat system and we’ll try to implement them as soon as possible so that these fighting mechanics don’t feel as confusing.Today’s hotfix also addresses some minor localization issues.We’ve already made quite a number of bug fixes, tweaks, and overall improvements to be included in the next (and much bigger!) patch that is planned for the next week.Thank you again for your numerous and thorough feedback! It will help us make the game more enjoyable for you and other players to come.
