Sunday Rivals is a sports arcade game that allows you to take control of a professional American football team. This sport is characterized by a high level of entertainment and even cruelty — it is not for nothing that the players wear special protection that helps to avoid serious injuries as a result of a collision. There are no realistic mechanics in this project — everything is as close to arcade as possible, which makes it possible not to strain during matches, but to relax at least. Sunday Rivals has beautiful low-poly graphics and a lot of settings that allow you to change the look of the stadium, spectators and many other aspects. As part of the passage, many modes are available, including a regular training against AI, as well as short and long professional leagues, in which you need to lead your team through a series of tests and win first place in the championship.
The gamer acts directly as the manager of the club and the player. The manager’s responsibilities include managing the team, including buying and selling athletes, scheduling training, choosing a strategy for the next match, and so on. At the stadium, you can control any of the players in whose hands the ball is. Before the start of the competition, it is proposed to set up a strategy, including attacking and defensive, which will enable the players to act according to a certain pattern.
