Quiet as a Stone, you can choose between several different sites to build. These are small floating islands with their own distinctive features. For example, they have their own starting time of the day and a unique climate to separate them, as well as props. Moving the mouse around, you click the stones on the ground to smash them and cut the grass to discover new trees, ruins and precious stones. As long as you have the necessary amount of gems, you can resize any of the objects that you find in the world, as well as duplicate and move them to create your own scene. Then, once you are done, you have two options for what you can do next. You can either sit back and admire your creation, or take a picture and share it online.
In addition to new objects that can be built, you can also discover magical objects hidden among the green foliage and inside the rocks. They create different effects. You can use them to light up the environment, add fog and stars, and make grass grow from the ground. These interactions are fun and give you even more customizability than your surroundings.
