There are a lot of changes in the game and the developers in general decided to exceed all expectations in all areas, without exception. But at the same time, the main innovation is that now the game goes into 3D, and thanks to this it takes on a completely different image. According to the developers, big changes await players in the combat system, and in combat mechanics in general, and not only. Not only have the heroes themselves been significantly redesigned and received many new features, but also during the battles you will now have to think about each new step and action.

Speaking of heroes, you will have at your disposal both the old heroes from the first part and the new ones. This is the Leper, and the Warrior, and the Marauder with his unusual abilities, and the Plague Doctor, and the Rogue, and the Warrior. Each character is unique in its own way, and each has unique abilities and combat capabilities. And of course, the developers did a good job on the atmosphere. Now, if the rumors are to be believed. the game will fully demonstrate the atmosphere of the impending apocalypse, distorting the local world outside the Manor. And in Darkest Dungeon 2 there will already be more than one location, and you will have to visit not only small locations, but also in the mountains and in the city.
