Shinogi Chess Club 2 Resistance is an adventure game with strategy elements, set in an alternative medieval Japan. A serious economic crisis begins in the country, but one prefecture finds a way out of the difficult situation. It is investing in a new type of table chess and creating a number of professional leagues and championships. The game soon gains enormous popularity and boosts the economy, as almost all residents have become interested in it. Shinogi Chess Club 2 Resistance takes place in one of the most prestigious schools Toshino, where future champions are trained. In addition, they study other disciplines that are more classical for high school, and live in large dormitories. The main character is the girl Himiko Masaka, who dreams of becoming the new champion at the next autumn competition.
