The Renovator Origins

The Renovator Origins is an indie horror game with a first-person perspective. This project differs from other representatives of the genre in its location and setting. In the game, events take place on the territory of the museum. The narrative develops in two time periods. Namely in modern times and in the Soviet Union of the 1960s. The indie title boasts graphics that are detailed by the standards of such video games and a well-developed setting. The locations were created with attention to detail. They convey the post-Soviet atmosphere. The environment itself is interactive. In a video game, you can interact with different objects and zoom the camera in or out.

This horror game has replayability due to the presence of random events. The name of the video game is translated into Russian as Restorer: Origins. It will be managed by one of the museum workers, whose father was a restorer who died tragically. One day the hero was looking for memorabilia in the museum. The door behind the main character suddenly closed, after which all sorts of devilry began to happen around him. He will have to uncover the secrets of his relative’s death. The narrative is presented through cut scenes. Gameplay consists of exploring rooms and solving puzzles. The protagonist has an inventory where he puts the things he collects. Found objects can be viewed from different angles.
