Railroad Corporation 2 is a continuation of the well-known and popular railway simulator at the beginning of the current century, which this time takes the user to the 20th century. The volume of transportation increases several times, because humanity is developing by leaps and bounds. New technologies are being massively introduced into this industry — the main routes are electrified, which significantly saves costs and increases the speed of transportation. It is in such a difficult time that the player takes the reins of the management of a logistics transport company.
In Railroad Corporation 2, the main goal is the development and satisfaction of the client. To reduce delivery time, new roads are laid, using the combination of a short path with a convenient relief with maximum benefit. When crossing a canyon or a river, it is mandatory to build a bridge, the problem of passing through a mountain range will be solved by a tunnel. Modernization of trains and electrification of lines will help improve performance and transport more useful cargo. Do not forget about the research and development of cheap materials that can replace expensive analogs in production. It is also necessary to improve the railway station and city infrastructure, which will make life much easier for local residents and corporation employees. Both single and multiplayer modes are available for passing, allowing interaction with firms of other online tycoons.

Railroad Corporation 2 is OUT of Early Access NOW!
After over a year, we’re excited to finally open the doors to the 1.0 version of Railroad Corporation 2. Since October 2024, we’ve made a slew of updates filled with new features, fixes, and improvements. Over the past few months, we’ve also shared several looks at new systems and additions that were still in progress.
With the 1.0 release, these features are now fully integrated into the game:
New locomotives, like the legendary Big Boy, have joined the roster, expanding strategic options and giving players more ways to shape their railroad networks as technology evolves. The variety of engines available allows for different approaches depending on terrain, cargo demands, and long-term planning goals.The Player AI system is now active in the game. This creates more dynamic competition and encourages players to think differently about expansion, efficiency, and timing.Industry chains have also expanded with new goods and production opportunities. Orchards, beverages, and canned goods are now part of the economic landscape, opening fresh logistical challenges and new ways to build profitable supply networks.
Version 1.0 is a big step for us, and your feedback continues to matter. We encourage you to share your thoughts, suggestions, or report issues in the Steam Discussions forum, where we actively follow player conversations.
