Ys Foliage Ocean in Celceta Kai

Ys Foliage Ocean in Celceta Kai is an enhanced Steam edition of the classic RPG that laid the foundation for subsequent Ys games. As red-haired adventurer Adol Christin, who has lost his amnesia, you must explore the vast wilderness of Celceta, uncovering both your own secrets and the secrets of an ancient civilization. The game features fast-paced, party-based combat with intuitive controls and strategic elements like Flash Move for precise dodging and real-time switching of party members behavior. In addition to combat, the game features an Inspiration system for automatically unlocking skills and a system for upgrading weapons using collected materials.

The enhanced port runs at 60 frames per second, with improved textures, remastered music, and controls reworked specifically for PC, including reworked minigames and puzzles originally designed for the PS Vita’s touch controls. The gameplay mechanics that made this game influential for Ys VIII and IX are retained, including auto-mapping and the Flash Move system, making it a significant milestone in the Ys series.
