INAYAH Life after Gods

INAYAH Life after Gods transports gamers to a post-apocalyptic setting where technology and tribal society collide in unexpected ways. The title puts you in the shoes of Inaya, an outcast orphan navigating a landscape dominated by warring clans, amidst the remnants of an advanced civilization. Players must navigate through handcrafted biomes, each of which presents a unique challenge that requires Inaya’s mastery of movement and the strategic use of her companion drone, the Sputnik. The adaptive Gauntlet weapon system serves as the cornerstone of combat in INAYAH Life after Gods, transforming between Blades, Flail, and Fists configurations to suit different combat scenarios and exploration puzzles.

Metroidvania elements are evident throughout the interconnected setting, with previously inaccessible areas opening up as the player acquires new abilities or gear. Each of the twenty-plus bosses requires the player to adapt their approach, learn their attack patterns, and exploit specific weaknesses to progress. The narrative unfolds through the player’s choices, which branch the storyline in meaningful directions, influencing not only Inaya’s personal journey, but also the fate of the disparate tribes she encounters along the way. The title strikes a balance between platforming precision and combat depth, allowing players to develop their own playstyle.
