BMX Bastards is a comprehensive sports simulator that immerses players in a vast open-world setting dedicated to the culture of cycling. BMX Bastards players navigate three different maps, including a vast open world with cityscapes and special parks, with the developer’s roadmap indicating that additional features will be added in the future to expand the terrain. For those who can’t find a suitable place to ride, the title includes a powerful park editor, allowing gamers to create their own environments from scratch, creating an adventurous BMX community experience.

Customization options extend beyond terrain to include modifications to both rider and bike. The in-game bike editor provides full control over component selection and color scheme, as well as the ability to completely replace the bike with a mountain bike. The character editor allows gamers to personalize the appearance of their pilot with a variety of clothing and equipment options to suit their individual style preferences.
