Void Sails puts the player in the role of a captain of a certain flying vessel heading into the unexplored expanses of space. The central task is to find the protagonist’s missing father, which initiates a long expedition into the unknown. You will have to navigate through mysterious worlds, collect occult relics and clash with hostile forces that stand in your way. Any find carries the potential to reveal the truth or approach the loss of sanity.

The development of the plot in Void Sails is determined by the decisions made, which directly affect the narrative and lead to several endings. Managing a flying vessel involves installing upgrades, maintaining the engines and preparing weapons for combat in an unknown solar system full of constant threats. Communication with the characters you meet poses a choice: trust or doubt, show courage or retreat, which directly affects the course and outcome of the narrative. The results of actions become key to gameplay.

Facing danger is a condition for survival when moving deeper into the interstellar Void. This project contains scenarios of battles between ships and direct confrontation with ancient alien constructs blocking the route. In addition, it is necessary to resist the mental influence emanating from the Void, which manifests itself as whispers from other realities and forms that arise on the edge of perception. This confrontation requires efforts to maintain the captain’s sanity while studying the secrets hidden behind the Shroud.
