Trigger of Time

Trigger of Time is a short, atmospheric first-person adventure developed by Pantopie, where players manipulate time in the ruins of a lost civilization. You play as a man searching for Elia, a member of a vanished expedition who left behind cryptic notes and traces in a mysterious city frozen in time. The core gameplay revolves around using a mysterious artifact to locally alter time slowing down, speeding up, or freezing objects to solve physics-based puzzles that challenge your understanding of temporal mechanics. The world itself exists in a temporal suspension, where ancient machines continue to hum and stone structures are perfectly preserved, creating an eerie backdrop for exploration.

The narrative unfolds in the environment, as you piece together Elia’s journey and the fate of a civilization that once knew how to manipulate time, and then mysteriously collapsed. Players will have to find out what brought Elia to this place, what secrets she discovered, and what price she paid for her search. The game is made in a characteristic minimalist visual style and is accompanied by an original melancholic soundtrack that enhances the mysterious atmosphere. Despite its short 90-minute duration, Trigger of Time provides a concentrated experience that combines puzzle solving with atmospheric exploration, and asks whether you will be able to find Elia where others have failed.
