SkullX Aibohphobia

SkullX Aibohphobia is a dark visual RPG that begins an interconnected series where your choices span multiple chapters. You lead a mercenary squad that begins with a simple mission to extract a bio-engineer, but quickly turns into a supernatural nightmare when you encounter mysterious marked people under the full moon. There are five playable characters, each with unique combat abilities that manifest in turn-based battles that unfold throughout the narrative. With over 20,000 words of story, your decisions determine not only the six possible endings of the current chapter, but also impact future installments in ways you never imagined.

The visuals feature 100+ hand-drawn comic-style scenes, animated characters, and tense scenes that bring the occult mysteries to life. The story delves into the dark arts and a world that is slowly falling apart, where human and inhuman forces collide in ways that shape each protagonist’s journey. Combat encounters feature terrifying enemies designed to unnerve players, and a branching narrative system that remembers every choice throughout the series. This creates a persistent world where consequences follow you from chapter to chapter, making each playthrough feel unique based on your decisions.
