Mai Child of Ages

Mai Child of Ages is an adventure game in which Mai embarks on a journey through a fractured timeline to discover her identity and stop mysterious shapeshifting creatures threatening the balance of the universe. Players travel through past and future eras using the Sacred Plant as a temporal bridge, witnessing the transformation of worlds and adapting strategies accordingly. The game features evolving gameplay mechanics that transition from the precise platforming of Mai's childhood to hack-and-slash combat as she matures, creating a natural Metroidvania style progression system.

About This Game

At the core of Mai's abilities is the Ouroboro Stone, a powerful artifact that manipulates time, freezing objects and rewriting history to solve complex environmental puzzles. Combat combines technical melee and ranged attacks with strategic dodging and blocking, and players craft weapons and tools using Mai's journal system. This 20+ hour adventure spans ancient caves, abandoned factories, and underwater worlds, filled with hidden collectibles that reveal the story of humanity's extinction and the world's possible future.
