The gameplay system centers on rapid level progression and strategic resource allocation during brief moments of calm. The unique mechanic is the Dynamic Fear Multiplier. As the player's health drops and the number of nearby enemies increases, a fear multiplier activates, providing temporary bonuses to movement speed and critical hit chance, encouraging a high risk, close quarters play style to maximize score. Progression is tied to a detailed, randomized Perk Tree unlocked between waves, forcing players to adapt their build from one run to the next. Mastery of this system is the key to pushing deeper into the game’s increasingly punishing difficulty tiers.
