You take on the role of a renowned private detective named Martini and immerse yourself in the grim atmosphere of a European metropolis. This city of vice and high stakes offers no traditional clues or task logs, forcing you to rely solely on your own intuition. All important facts and evidence are recorded in a personal notebook, which becomes your sole companion throughout the investigation. Vaudeville challenges you to solve mysteries by relying on deduction rather than pre-written scenarios.

The path to the truth leads through a variety of colorful locations, unlocked through successful dialogue in a special story mode. The detective will visit the enchanting cabaret of Violette's Cabane and the chaotic Saxabar Circus, as well as explore the sinister Gravesen Estate and the mysterious wilderness of Blackwood. Interacting with colorful characters in these locations not only advances the story but also unlocks new areas for further intel gathering.
