Reigns The Witcher, a grotesque interpretation of a familiar dark fantasy universe, offers a glimpse into the heroic everyday life of Geralt of Rivia through the lens of the bard Dandelion's heady and sometimes unreliable ballads. Instead of familiar fencing, the game is dominated by a binary choice mechanic, where each swipe of a card creates a unique chain of events and determines the fate of the continent. Immersion in this world requires immediate responses to the demands of the environment, forcing the White Wolf to constantly be torn between hunting bloodthirsty monsters, conflicts with the locals, and the simple desire to take a hot bath.
The protagonist will inevitably encounter iconic characters along the way, including the sorceresses Yennefer and Triss Merigold, as well as the wise mentor Vesemir, whose roles now depend on the storyteller's wild imagination. The original Reigns: The Witcher prioritizes not only the witcher's physical survival but also the poet's professional success.
