Mall Rivals is a business simulation game from Creedon Games where up to eight players compete for dominance in a shared shopping mall. You begin by choosing a store type, customizing its layout, and stocking the shelves with merchandise to attract a steady stream of customers. Success depends on balancing legitimate growth, such as hiring staff, with aggressive tactics, such as undercutting your competitors. The game features a boardroom mechanic where players propose and vote on mall-wide rules that can boost your profits or undermine your rivals.
For those who prefer a more shady approach, sabotage is a viable strategy, though getting caught will land your character on ShameTV for public humiliation. Set in a chaotic shopping mall environment, the stakes are high and every customer is a resource to be fought over. You'll need to manage inventory and employee performance while keeping a close eye on your rivals' schemes. Whether you play as an honest entrepreneur or a cunning, destructive player, your goal is to outsmart the other seven players. The gameplay combines creative design with brutal economic strategy. It's a dynamic battle for retail dominance, where your reputation is as important as your profits.
