Chains of Bondage tasks players with building an empire in a harsh post-apocalyptic world with a collapsed society. You must construct a fortified dungeon, explore the dangerous ruins of a bygone civilization, and manage resources to survive. The core gameplay revolves around developing this base and establishing authority over its inhabitants. In such an environment, power is achieved through dominance, and followers find their purpose in willing submission.

Followers in Chains of Bondage are a key component of your enterprise. Each individual has a unique personality with distinct preferences and boundaries, arriving either ready to serve or requiring a structured approach to embrace their role. Through a system of obedience and discipline, you assign them tasks ranging from household chores to fieldwork. Their emotional and physical states are dynamic, directly influenced by your learning style and decisions, allowing you to form bonds or maintain distance.

Starting with a simple shelter, you expand it into a personalized dungeon thanks to a modular construction system. Complete control over the layout of rooms and the placement of objects allows you to create a functional survival complex and a personal pleasure palace.
