Clockwork Ambrosia

Clockwork Ambrosia is a 2D steampunk platformer RPG set in a retrofuturistic world. Developed by Realmsoft, you play as Iris, exploring an island and battling animated enemies with four different weapons: the Pulsebreaker, a rocket launcher, a revolver, and a grenade launcher. The game's defining feature is its deep weapon modification system instead of finding ammo upgrades, you discover modifications that dramatically alter the behavior of your weapon, allowing for thousands of unique combinations through creative synergies. Movement abilities, such as wall jumping and ceiling-walking gloves, complement the combat system, while armor and healing abilities offer further customization options. This Metroidvania-style adventure rewards the discovery of secrets, and in the village of Borersville, which serves as the world's hub, you can purchase modifications and items using scrap metal.

You can save and change your loadout, fast travel between teleportation points, and upgrade your weapons to unlock additional modification slots. The game offers 15-20 hours of gameplay with over 100 unique modifications to unlock, as well as convenient features like map markers and a shop system for missing enemy drops. Death mechanics include save points and a limited number of extra lives for instant resurrection.
