Isekai Rondo transports you to a fantasy realm where you are not a hero but a strategist guiding a group of eccentric adventurers. Developed by Exe Create Inc. and published by KEMCO for release in 2023, this RPG anime adventure simulation strategy game follows a protagonist summoned to another world who decides to build a guild instead of chasing the demon lord. You recruit characters from taverns, assign them to quests, and manage their relationships and rivalries. The turn based combat requires careful positioning and elemental affinities, with a front and back row system that protects weaker party members. The latest version of the game includes a new game plus mode that carries over guild reputation and unlocked classes.
Simulation mechanics include upgrading your guild hall, assigning roles like cook, blacksmith, and scout, and balancing your budget to avoid bankruptcy. Strategy comes from choosing which quests to accept, as high reward missions may permanently injure or kill your party members. RPG progression offers over 20 unique classes, from Knight to Necromancer, each with branching skill trees. Anime art style features vibrant character portraits and expressive cutscenes. The story branches into multiple endings based on which guild members survive and which factions you ally with.
