Freefall 95

Freefall 95 is an indie action game from S-Bend Games that immerses you in a frantic arcade game about falling from the sky, where you play as the sole survivor of a plane crash. As you plummet toward the earth, you'll perform radical stunts and acrobatics while dodging debris, collecting items, and stringing together combos for massive scores all inspired by classic extreme sports games like Tony Hawks Pro Skater and SSX Tricky. The game features 15 stages across five levels with three difficulty settings that escalate into bullet hell style chaos, as well as arcade challenge modes for quick score-hunting sessions and roguelike challenges where you must complete multiple levels using a single health bar.

Between crashes, you can chat with plane passengers, buy items with earned coins, and complete quests that unravel the complex story behind the plane crash. The combo system is incredibly deep, allowing you to rack up huge scores and customize your playstyle with traits and ability items that change how you tackle each level. With an art style and soundtrack heavily inspired by the '90s, the game perfectly captures the atmosphere of retro extreme sports, while offering arcade leaderboards for competing with friends or players from around the world. Essentially, it's the mechanics of scoring points at a skate park, combined with the chaos of falling out of a plane, wrapped in a nostalgic package.
