Taguan

Taguan is an indie horror adventure developed by Murushii Studios that follows David Lagani, an ordinary Filipino worker whose daily life turns into a nightmare when reports emerge of a mysterious figure breaking into homes and kidnapping their occupants. As the nights grow increasingly tense and every sound becomes a potential threat, David can only hope the intruder's footsteps dont reach his door. The game's title comes from the Filipino word Tago, referencing both the act of hiding itself and the childrens game of hide and seek a fitting metaphor for this survival horror game.

This walking simulator offers a narrative focused, gradually escalating psychological horror experience that explores Philippine social themes through interactive fiction-style storytelling, complemented by full Filipino voiceover and semi realistic low poly graphics that create an oppressive atmosphere. The game contains elements of psychological horror, gore, and violence; it is designed to be completed in a single sitting, lasting approximately one hour or more. Players navigate an unsettling world where atmosphere and narrative take precedence over traditional gameplay mechanics, allowing for a deeply personal exploration of fear and cultural anxieties.
