MEATHOOK

MEATHOOK is an action adventure game in which you play as a captive of a mysterious cult, suspended on a conveyor belt and forced to undergo a series of ritualistic trials in underground tunnels. The game features a physics-based weapon system with a unique manual reload mechanic that emphasizes tactile, hands-on combat. You navigate small, interconnected levels using a marker-based movement system, encouraging exploration to discover new routes and shortcuts, allowing you to strategically optimize your progression across multiple playthroughs.

Gameplay involves collecting necessary resources, including food, ammunition, keys, and weapons, while battling cultists throughout the tunnel labyrinth. Those seeking a 100% completion can search for hidden secret items scattered throughout the levels. Set in the surreal universe of developer Alex Rasloffs previous game, Barbotine, MEATHOOK expands on that world's iconic story, offering new mysteries to unravel. The main objective is to master unique combat mechanics, effectively navigate interconnected levels, and ultimately, escape the cult's clutches alive.
