Tormentum II

Tormentum II is a dark point-and-click adventure game that blends psychological horror with surreal hand-drawn graphics inspired by H.R. Giger and Zdzisław Beksiński. You play as David, a programmer who, after installing a mysterious coprocessor, becomes trapped in his own artificial intelligence simulation and awakens imprisoned on an island with fragmented memories and no clear path to escape. The simulation has spiraled beyond his control, developing levels he never created and populated by creatures that speak of mysterious divine beings. Navigate 200 hand-drawn scenes across several surreal islands, solving puzzles and making morally ambiguous choices that shape the fate of the characters you encounter and lead to multiple endings.

The game offers 8-12 hours of adventure as David discovers why his creation gained independence and how to return home. This self-contained story requires no knowledge of the original game; it features nearly 500 unique background images and a dark, atmospheric soundtrack with metallic overtones. Developed over eight years by OhNoo Studio's core team, consisting of two of the creators of the original Tormentum: Dark Sorrow, the game emphasizes consequence-based storytelling, where the right answers are rarely obvious. Gameplay unfolds at your own pace through dialogue and environmental puzzles that gradually reveal the simulator's secrets.
