Kill The Shadow

Kill The Shadow is an indie story driven RPG and adventure game from Shadowlight, set in the ruined areas of Dark Tide. Visually, the game combines HD 3D environments with 2D pixel art characters, and locations range from neon-lit slums to dingy docks on stilts. You play as Lucas, an investigator who is joined by a strange creature called "Shadow," which clings to your back, reads your memories, and recreates the final moments of the dead. To uncover what shattered the city ten years ago, you must solve a series of strange cases, including the mysterious death of a puppy and the disappearance of a man.

The game allows you to increase your Strength, Spirit, and Charm stats to approach suspects in your own way whether through psychological manipulation, bribery, or physical violence. Using a dedicated deduction system, you collect, analyze, and connect clues to build your own investigation. During your investigation, you'll interact with colorful locals, such as the cheerful photographer Kiki, Captain Theo, and a curse casting priestess. Your decisions will ultimately determine how you deal with the main instigator of all this: you can kill them, sentence them, or even kiss them.
