The abyss keeps what you want at the very bottom, and Miseria is the slow walk down. The idle role playing game from Somnambulist Games, developed and published by the studio, mixes automatic combat, steady growth and a dark descent into a place that answers desire with danger.

Your party fights on its own. Characters strike, charge mana and unleash abilities while you watch, plan and steer the bigger picture. The format is honest about what it is: your job is not reflexes but decisions. Who grows, what gets forged, and when to push one floor deeper. The battles never stop, and neither does the gold.

Progress climbs the usual ladder of power, and it climbs with style. Monsters drop gold and experience. Stats rise, equipment improves at the blacksmith's bench, and every run pushes the line a little further down. The deeper the party goes, the heavier both the threat and the reward become. There is always one more floor worth testing.

The Reborn system is the heart of the loop. At a certain point you reset the descent in exchange for permanent upgrades, and the next attempt starts stronger than the last one ever managed. Prestige is not punishment here; it is the engine. Mastering the reset is what breaks old limits.

The horror setting gives the numbers a face. The abyss is dark, the enemies are worse, and the mood stays grim even while the statistics grow. Management and point & click interaction keep the pace calm, so the game works as well in short sessions as it does during long, quiet evenings. Nothing asks for hurry or skill, only patience.

Miseria suits players who like idle games with atmosphere: watching power build, planning the next reset, and going one floor further than yesterday. The bottom still waits, and the game is in no hurry.
