"My Life as a Vampire's Maid" is an exploration adventure visual novel developed by Studio Ubai Trans and published by Kagami Games. The game reached its launch on Steam and welcomes players into a dark fantasy world where a normal person suddenly faces the supernatural. The story mixes suspense, everyday comedy, and the quiet charm of life inside an isolated mansion.
The player takes the role of a young man stranded in the snowy mountains. A strange invisible force pulls him forward until he reaches a mysterious and remote mansion. There is no clear explanation at first. The house stands alone in the cold, and the hero has nowhere else to go. Step by step, he learns what lives inside.
Two vampire girls wait within the walls. Each has a completely different personality, and the hero must find a way to live with both. Their daily routines turn into a peculiar kind of family life. Meals, chores, conversations, and small conflicts slowly reveal the secrets of the place. The mood shifts between warmth and dread as the story moves on.
The gameplay follows the visual novel style with an exploration twist. Players explore the mansion, talk to the heroines, and choose how to answer during key moments. Choices affect the direction of the plot and the relationship between the characters. Multiple scenes reward those who dig deeper into the house and its history.
The art direction supports the atmosphere well. Detailed anime style visuals show both the cozy side of the mansion and the darkness hiding beneath it. The soundtrack adds tension during serious scenes and softens the mood during calm ones. The writing carries most of the experience, so reading quality matters here.
