PLATONICA SPACE

"PLATONICA SPACE" is a sci fi exploration adventure created by developer Kazuhide Oka and published by KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO together with yokaze. The game invites players to open a door and step into the memories of complete strangers. The setting is a strange chain of rooms where nothing is what it seems, and the story unfolds through the fragments of the past.

The world of the game begins with Earth becoming uninhabitable for humans. Mankind spread across the universe, and a century passed after the exodus. The protagonist wakes up in an unfamiliar room with no memory of who they are. Every door leads to another room, and the exit never appears. The space seems endless and filled with secrets.

Five other people are trapped in the same place. They have no idea who they are or how they got there. As the player explores, the truth starts to surface. The rooms are built from memories, both the hero's own and the memories of the others. Some of these memories are dark. One of the group apparently shot a girl dead. Another boarded a spaceship with a fake ID. The identity of the murderer and the stowaway becomes a central mystery.

Gameplay focuses on restoring memories by placing items. Scattered across the rooms are memory spots that show lost memories when activated with the right objects. Each memory works like a chapter of a novel with missing pages. The player reads them and tries to piece together the stories of everyone in the space.

The environment shifts every time the hero falls asleep. Room layouts, connections, items, and even characters change with each new wake up. No two attempts look the same. Every action consumes Vigor, and when it drops to zero the hero falls asleep, losing the items carried at that moment. Planning each step carefully is the key to progress.

PLATONICA SPACE combines hidden object exploration with a deep narrative about identity and guilt. Fans of mystery adventures and story driven sci fi will find a lot to dig into here.
