Flock of the Seraphim

"Flock of the Seraphim" is a horde survival roguelite bullet heaven game developed and published by GuuchanDev. The player defends against endless hordes of demons that grow stronger over time, while the hero grows as well. Leveling up, gathering holy allies with weapons, and collecting loot are the tools for keeping up with the rising threat. Hell has risen, and heaven's cutest soldiers are called in to repel the invasion.

The core of the game is a squad of angel warriors. Each angel carries a unique weapon and brings a distinct passive ability. Bows, rifles, and even RPGs appear in the holy arsenal. Individual stats cover fire rate, reload speed, damage, pierce, and health recovery, so every member of the squad fills a different role in combat.

Runs stay fast and focused. A standard run reaches the boss in about ten minutes, while higher difficulties stretch the time and raise the stakes. During each run the player levels up, gathers loot, and recruits more angels to become stronger mid fight. The progression keeps the pressure constant and the action dense.

More than twenty different angel weapon choices can be unlocked, each with customizable designs. Weapons are kept after the run is complete, which softens the roguelite cycle and rewards long term progress. The squad becomes a personal collection of fighters with their own look and loadout.

Currency earned in battle is spent outside the crusade. Meta upgrades strengthen the holy power between runs, and angels can be improved as well. Returning to the fight with increased divine power makes each attempt feel meaningful.

The developer describes the origin of the project with a joke about a nun in a jack o pose. The humor carries into the style of the game. Flock of the Seraphim is a cheerful and fast paced take on the bullet heaven genre for fans of short intense runs.
