Описание

New World Horizon — is a great role-playing sandbox in the setting of the Wild West. Here you have to travel, hunt, build, get resources, fight for the life of your main character and not only. As such, the plot is not yet in this game, although the developers initially promised to add a full-fledged plot with a history. But perhaps this is not necessary here, because the essence of the game is not to complete quests, but to survive in the vast expanses of an unusual world full of dangers, adventures, traps, obstacles, puzzles and riddles, secrets and much more.

About This Game

Starting to play, you will first have to choose one of the characters presented. In total, New World Horizon currently has five characters, two women and three men, and each character has its own unique abilities, skills and bonuses. In this case, you still have to start with a gun more like a musket and a knife.

There are settlements, cities, merchants and various characters, a huge open world, a sea of resources that can be collected, an advanced crafting system and more. You need to survive at all costs. You can hunt animals, fish, go to sea on a local ship, arrange your own housing, fight with the local inhabitants (an analogue of the Indians), or just go on a journey through dangerous ruins. You can do anything here that comes to mind.

And plus everything else, you will also find the invented trade and economic mechanics. You will trade, communicate with traders, help out or fulfill orders, and thus establish your coexistence with the characters of this world. The more you are respected, the more opportunities you will receive, both in terms of earnings and in terms of survival. Although, again, it is you who will choose the path along which you go.

Инструкция по установке

Пошаговый процесс установки для PLAZA

  1. Смонтируйте .iso-образ в виртуальный привод (Daemon Tools, PowerISO или встроенное монтирование Windows) — либо запишите его на болванку, если так привычнее.

  2. Запустите setup.exe с подключённого диска и установите игру как обычную программу Windows.

  3. Скопируйте всё содержимое папки PLAZA с образа в папку с установленной игрой, соглашаясь на замену файлов.

  4. Запустите игру с ярлыка на рабочем столе или из установленного .exe — всегда от имени администратора.

    Update v20200428:So far things have been very smooth with the higher frame rate option, hopefully working well for everyone. The wall climbing issue getting stuck in tall trees has been resolved and working good, but the new shaders, though looking really nice, have had some issues that needed some major work to get right.What we have done to get it looking good was to bring all the map levels to the same starting elevation, so that we can kill the shaders at a fixed sea level.Unfortunately our early levels were built at awkward elevations, so they have been raised up.Many players might load to their homes to find them buried in the terrain. If so, then the house vendor in emerald peaks offers a demo house option and give a full refund of construction materials.Update v20200422:Though our Easter Event has ended, the Boss Quest continues and is now full time, replacing our friendly rabbit with the oh so deadly Level 9 chest in rat dungeon. The quest will tour through our 10 newly crafted dungeons and caverns scattered across the lands.We have added new shrine areas to the more distant dungeons to give players a much needed refill as the journeys continue to become more distant also some much needed art throughout the final boss areas.Exciting new \"Shift Key\" wall climbing, vaulting, flipping and flying attacks are now possible and with the added obstacle course and archery range in the starting area to help new players get started and a new tavern in the trade city for experienced players for new ship crew recruitment.

    Update v20200330:- One issue that we did manage to finally track down involved the quest line starting at the church with killing rats and snakes. This quest line was resetting back to the start. This issue has been fixed and fortunately as this quest chain is easy and does have several bounties for gold, players can get one last play through of it before moving onward.- We have changed up the quest for the golden pelts as we want to eliminate all the text pop ups that lots of players are missing.- We have since replaced this with a new “Ghost Spawn†of the various animal spirits and it really gives so much more life to the quest.- We have fixed the construction vendor and began adding the various construction plans to the inventory system which can simply be clicked out of the inventory.- Combat cooldowns have been reduced by 50% and it seams to have really smoothed things out quite a bit.

    Update v20200318:We have updated the crew system and at least for the time being is working. I have replaced the dialog system once he has been hired, and instead can be given commands from the helm to fire and reload. Also your ship will slow down automatically before releasing from the helm as this was at times throwing the player into the sea if the deck was too crowded with unloaded cannons or a crew member. I will be be back soon for additional refinements, but for the time being, our new auto landscape and foliage system is up and looking great which will make expansion much faster, but has left us with quite a bit of touch up on the existing stuff. As i was a bit rushed when doing the original update notes, I had forgotten to note that as some landscape may have changed, we will replace all building materials used in construction. If any players needs to move his house, the House Vendor in Emerald Peaks will give a full refund.

    Our year one update rolls out, at least most of it...After three days, our attempts at getting the crew member update working have so far been unsuccessful, but not wanting to roll back all the other great changes, we have decided to just move forward with the update.So without further delay, here is the what’s new list- reduced time required fishing, mining and lumbering with higher yields- Increased wildlife spawn- Consumable items are now clickable out of inventory-All UI are now mouse click, wheel, keyboard and joystick ready- New Remove traps skill and a variety of new traps on chests, walls and floors- you can now sleep anywhere you make fire- Shift to sprint now uses mana but increases acceleration and jump height- While swimming, forward view has been offset for better depth control with Space Bar now swimming to surface- Joystick controls have been greatly simplified putting all the primary combat moves on the face buttons- Parachute Glide Ratio increased- Physics anomalies walking on the deck of ships has for the most part been fixed- Greatly increases the surrounding water area around all islands to accommodate for larger sea battles there.- Added Hit reaction to combat but reduced the bite hold on alligators- improved archery accuracy to better calculate elevation.- Z to drop anchor now works correctly- And last but not least, the fabulous new landscape materials and procedural foliage from Iggy and the Kayakalackin team. Though I have just begun working with it, the look is amazing so a millions thanks!!

    Update v20200128:no changelog was posted. Update v20200126:We have begun the great mainland expansion. The world is about to get really big. We also added some new music tracks and some new glitter effects to the rare spawns and drops to make finding things a bit easier. Enjoy guys! Update v20200120:We have begun to expand and build on the mainland, The two zones added will serve as our first entrances into the deep jungle of the main continent and as we get more built we will begin connecting them together to build what will be a massive area for deep exploration and a wide costal region for adventure. Currently the areas are a bit bare but the spawns their are of higher difficulty. Also we have found a major bug in ocean navigation that would respawn your boat in the middle of the sea when leaving the western islands. This has been fixed and I apologize this went undiscovered for so long. Either way, we’re gonna keep moving forward, hope you guys enjoy, Good Hunting!!

    Update v20200113:This update has a more refined combat system and skill cue, Improved dialog system, lots of new things to encounter and some major bug fixes.Characters now also start with double gold (40gp) to help get players started as game difficulty was a common complaint with our original launch.
