About This Game

One morning a carrier pigeon arrived at Doc Hendersen’s farm with a message. The message came from Communion Creek, an isolated settlement in the far north of the Fairborn Mountains. The news is amazing, the woman in Communion Creek is pregnant and about to give birth. Doc knows that in order for a baby to have any chance of survival, it needs to be vaccinated immediately after birth. Doc immediately embarks on a difficult journey, fully aware of the immense value of the child. But rumors are hard to suppress in the mountains, and dark forces begin to approach. Join your father in an adventure walking simulator, the action of which takes place in the near future, as humanity is going through the last stages of its decline, which preceded extinction. You will move and cross harsh terrain, often in difficult weather, with only a compass and your ingenuity to guide you, but the whole struggle is worth it when you see what is behind the next hill.

The Quiet Apocalypse uses streaming in the landscape to represent more than 400 km of stylized wildlife with a constant frame rate and without the use of boot screens. Streaming landscape orientation can sometimes cause short-term fluctuations in frame rate when loading and unloading data. It depends a lot on the individual hardware configurations, so keep in mind if you feel that intermittent failures in maintaining a constant frame rate may prevent you from enjoying the game.
